Kim Shaver is the principle and founder of Kim Shaver Consulting, LLC offering consulting services in health and human services, specializing in eligibility programs.  She has over 35 years of experience in the field of health and human services, including 20 years of public service with the Florida Department of Children and Services. In her public sector career, Kim served in various district and state program/ operational leadership positions including the Agency’s Program Director for TANF, SNAP and Medicaid (eligibility.)  She led the state’s early modernization efforts that transformed the traditional in-office business model to one of self-service options with online services, call centers and large network of community-based partners.  In the private sector, Kim leveraged this experience and expertise to support a number of other large-scale state system and business transformations.  Kim is actively engaged in industry events and currently serves as one of the two vice chairs for the Human Services IT Advisory Group (HSITAG).   Kim holds a Bachelor's degree from University of Florida and a Master's Degree from the University of South Florida.
